About Virginia




Virginia is a qualified Counsellor, Psychotherapist, Psychologist, Chaplain and Pastoral Supervisor with extensive experience in providing psychological counselling and pastoral care in different settings including school, tertiary institution, hospital, church and community center. She is a clergy's spouse, and the mother of two children. 


She obtained her first Bachelor degree in Business Economics and worked in the business sector during her young adulthood.  


As a Christian who wanted to know deeper and wider about her faith, Virginia completed a Master degree in Bible and Church Management. 


In response to the calling and being further equipped in providing pastoral care, Virginia gained her Psychologist qualification in Germany, major in clinical and educational psychology. She finished her Master degree with distinction and her thesis "Supportive Care Needs among cancer patients with different age groups" was also awarded with distinction. Returning to Hong Kong, Virginia was part of the university research team, evaluating programs for positive youth development. 

After moving to Australia in 2013, Virginia volunteered and worked in pastoral care and counselling roles at churches, hospitals, educational institutes, schools and community centers. She completed professional training in Counselling and Pastoral Supervision, which granted her specializations in these two disciplines. In recent years she started supporting ministers and leaders at churches, theological College and the Defence Force by offering professional pastoral supervision. 


Virginia is passionate about listening to people’s stories, accompanying them to go through different challenges, supporting and helping them flourish in their life journeys with her warm and caring characters. 


She speaks English, German Deutsch and Chinese (Cantonese 廣東話 and Mandarin 普通話 ).
